We just finished this build back in January 2019, but the owner’s life plans have taken him in a completely different direction than he was anticipating, and now he is needing to sell this barely used beauty. You can read more about our description here, and Paul, the owner, has provided the additional remarks:
” $75,000 Beautiful, new (five months old) tiny house professionally built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses- Details below, but selling because my situation has changed and I moved back to NY. Can deliver anywhere in the DC-Boston corridor or Northeast/New England area. Delivery to other parts of the lower 48 is possible for a fee. Price is definitely negotiable. The cost of the house was $100k all told, so I’m already down a good deal to get things going. Again, price is flexible. Want to sell soon.
Details:
22 ft + 6 ft goose. 8 ft wide. 12.5 feet tall. Trailer Made Trailer (specifically designed for a house rather than just a trailer). Frame is metal sips (galvanized and painted sheet metal skins) — the paint is industrial grade Sherwin Williams and can be painted over, if desired. The metal sips weigh 45% less than wood sips. House weight dry is 10k lbs. 11.7k lbs with all my stuff in it and tongue weight is 2.3k lbs at that wet weight. 2 5/16″ Gooseneck ball. I towed it with a modified ram 1500 ecodiesel (and it does fine). With a 3/4 ton or one ton you wouldn’t feel this behind you! Interior has lite-ply plywood for most of the built-ins. Apportioned with top-notch everything: ultra-efficient roll-out chest fridge by SunDanzer, Wolf induction cooktop, copper/granite countertops, floating cork flooring, custom stainless steel shower, ultra-efficient Nebia shower fixture, Nature’s Head composting toilet, elevator bed, Cubic Grizzly wood stove, Envi electric wall heater, all-natural-latex and wool couch cushions, skylight, Kolbe Forgent windows including a massive bay window in the rear for plants or cat lounging. 4 gallon EcoSmart hot water heater (also have an on-demand I would throw in). The house was built around being as lightweight and top-notch as possible. Solar setup has 1.4kw solar array (360W LG panels), 300ah battery capacity at 24v (Relion batteries — the best lithium ion phosphate batteries on the market; their lifespan at 50% discharge is over 14,000 cycles and they cannot be hurt by full discharges; they charge from 0 to 100 in full sun in less than two hours), MidNite Solar Controller, Magnum 4024 4kw PAE inverter, two panels on the side that flip up at any angle you want for winter or horizontal in summer, two on the roof will do the same. 50amp/30amp/110 electrical hookups. Grey water drain, no holding tank (comes with a Barkley caddy if wanted).
Other details include double slide-out pantry, cat tree, loft with 80 gallon fresh water tank, gooseneck storage galore, Braun exhaust fan , Lunos eGoO air exchanger/heat recovery unit, lovely/strong ceiling fan, and ample lighting.
Why buy an expensive travel trailer when you can have an upscale house and take it anywhere and live in it *even in the winter* if you have to? Perfect for the West, where the sun shines all the time, or for non-winter in the Northeast (or winter with a hookup) and winter elsewhere!
Or use as exceptional value for rental income with little need for utilities, guest housing for friends or family, or just a really nice part-time off-grid escape on your getaway property. “
This would be a private transaction between buyer and seller, Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses is just posting this as a courtesy to assist our customer in finding a new home for this unique tiny house. If interested, please contact us, and we will relay your info to the seller.
